The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are a little different depending on where you buy them. These different processors have different strengths and weaknesses, and you may find that you need to import a different model to ensure you get the loadout you want. In the Galaxy S7, the Snapdragon appears to have faster single-threaded performance, while the Exynos does better in multi-core tests. This allowed t to instantly switch to apps in the second lap of the test rather than loading them from scratch, as the Snapdragon model did. The two models also have stark differences when it comes to battery life.

Samsung broke from tradition when it came to the processors powering its current flagship Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. In previous years, the company used both Qualcomm's highest-end processor and Samsung's Exynos processor, depending on region. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge exclusively use the company's octa-core Exynos chip and reportedly skipped using the Snapdragon due to numerous reports of overheating. It appears Samsung is returning to using its very own Exynos processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon setup when it releases the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in February, depending on region. A new report claims to reveal which carriers will get a Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge powered by an Exynos or Snapdragon chip, plus the model numbers of each smartphone. The company is reportedly planning an Unpacked event scheduled for Feb. Latest reports have also suggested that Samsung is planning to cut the price of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and claim it will be cheaper than the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at launch.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been officially available worldwide and this seems to be the year that Samsung will recover and gain the market share.
