The Mida Multi-Tool was a fan-favourite Scout Rifle from the original Destiny, so it's pleasing to see it return for the sequel. The Destiny 2 Mida Multi-Tool is much the same as the original. It's an Exotic Scout Rifle with perks that boost move speed, and keeps your radar visible while aiming down sights. However, while the original was a random drop or vendor purchase, Destiny 2 has you complete a questline before you can unlock it, though we expect for many players of the original, the work will be more than worth it. The Destiny 2 Mida Multi-Tool is very similar to the Destiny 1 iteration in all of the ways that made players like it so much originally. Back in the first Destiny the rifle was a random drop or could be nabbed from a vendor, but Destiny 2 has dropped this particularly beloved weapon behind a quest instead. They know people love this gun and they want to make you work for it, which is fair enough, I guess.
